Welcome!
I’m Sabine
I’m a journalist, editor, and publisher who invites curious readers like you to explore unfamiliar places, where I introduce you to real-life characters who connect us to the grand tapestry of human wisdom, kinship, and purpose.
From my summers as a nerdy kid building rockets in my backyard, to the day I packed my bags to move to Bolivia at the age of 19, I’ve always yearned for a connection to something beyond myself. I wanted to meet people whose perspectives were vastly different than my own. I hoped to discover how we connected — not just to each other, but to larger threads of human experience that lace across continents and generations.
It took me decades to understand what I was chasing, let alone how to capture it through story. I’m still on that wild ride. It’s taken me from the jungles of the Amazon to the submerged shipwrecks of the Caribbean, introduced me to earthquake survivors and astrophysicists, and connected me to keepers of oral traditions passed down through millennia of indigenous Quechua history.
